Education Authority

The Transferor Churches nominate four members of the Education Authority Board who are currently

Mrs Edith Shaw – Methodist

Rev Amanda Adams – Church of Ireland

Mr John Wilkinson – Presbyterian

Rev Robert Herron – Presbyterian

Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC)

The TRC nominates three representatives to the Board of the CSSC who are currently

Dr Andrew Brown – Presbyterian

Dr Peter Hamill – Church of Ireland

Mr Alan Strong – Methodist

Department of Education Area Planning

The TRC represents its churches’ own schools and the governors appointed to controlled schools at all levels of Area Planning.

Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment

The TRC engages with CCEA on many issues which currently include RSE and RE.
